Study Abroad

The ICA&CA offers several study abroad programs beginning with our classic Rome Drawing Tour and its affiliated Edward Vason Jones Scholarship, generously supported by ICA&CA Fellow William Bates III, to assist architects and artists that have never been to the Eternal City. The next Rome tour is scheduled for 2009.

In June of 2008 the ICA&CA, with members of the faculty of the Grand Central Academy of Art, will be launching a two-week program on Classical Architecture and Landscape Painting in Italy, based in Subiaco, a dramatic hill town east of Rome between the ancient sites of Tivoli and Alba Fucens.

Additional programs in 2008 will also include an archaeological expedition for architects and artists. Details will be posted soon.
