Cast drawing addresses the fundamentals of line, shape, proportion, and three dimensional form. These studies will carry the artist’s cast and figure drawings to a highly resolved finish. The student will gain greater technical facility and a deeper understanding of the Classical tradition. Download Materials List

Figure Drawing • Sam Wisneski
Saturday • 12:30 - 4:30PM • $135

Over a period of four sessions students will produce a focused study of the human form. One pose will be worked on for four classes, allowing students to strive for accuracy and nuance in their drawings, all the while establishing the major forms and volumes of the figure. Key issues that will be addressed in this class are block-in/proportions, creating a graceful gesture, basic figure construction, anatomical landmarks, and modeling 3D form in relation to light.
