Fellows' 2010 Summer Lecture Series: Opposing Olmsted: the Life and Works of Landscape Architect Ferruccio Vitale

Overshadowed by Olmsted’s fame, Ferruccio Vitale is America’s forgotten landscape architect. Author of Ferruccio Vitale: Landscape Architect of the County Place Era, Terry Schnadelbach will speak about Ferruccio Vitale’s body of work, which includes the Washington Mall, the University of Illinois Campus, and the 1933 Chicago Exposition.
