Latrobe Society Event: Tour of Eolia, Summer Mansion of the Harkness Family; Old Black Point; and select cottages designed and built by James Gamble Rogers

Friday, June 19, 2009; 12:00 ? 4:00 pm

Tour of Eolia David Williams, Board member of Friends of Harkness, will provide a private tour of Eolia, including the carriage house—usually closed to the public—designed by Rogers. Deborah Butler, granddaughter of Rogers, will lead a 30-minute walking tour of Old Black Point followed by a tour of two private summer “cottages,” both designed and built by Rogers (circa 1913). The excursion will conclude with refreshments, provided by the Butler family.
