The Classicist No. 1 Archive
In an effort to make available on-line selected articles from out-of-print issues of The Classicist, The ICAA scanned copy from the first ground-breaking issue and painstakingly coded the text to make accessible on the Web site. Publishing technology was very different in 1994, when the first journal came out. No electronic files exist, only film, and the floppy disks that were used are now useless relics. It is a slow process to convert the material but it is the intention of the Institute to continue to bring more of the early work produced in The Classicists No.s 1, 2, and 3 to readers via the Web. Meanwhile, No.s 4, 5, and 6 are still available in print at the ICAA. Contact us today at (212) 730-9646 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
