The Classicist

Call for Papers and Projects

The editors of The Classicist have an on-going call for papers and projects to be published in forthcoming issues. The work may be related to any theoretical or practical aspect of classical architecture and its allied disciplines, which include painting, sculpture and the decorative arts. Contributions in Call for Papers and Projects all subject areas are welcome from architects, artists, archaeologists, scholars, interior designers and decorators, builders, craftspeople and students.

Papers

All papers must be accompanied by a 250 word abstract and photocopies of illustrations. If selected for publication, papers will need to be re-submitted on computer disk.

Projects

Illustrations for projects should be provided in the form of black-and-white or color 8 1/2 in. x 11in. photocopies. Architectural projects may be built or unrealized, professional or student, involve new construction or the rehabilitation of existing structures and should be accompanied by written documentation concerning site, program, etc. Drawings of projects submitted should be reproductions only and no larger than 11in. x 17in.; DO NOT send original materials or rolled drawings. For publication, photographs will be required as black-and-white pdf or tif files at 300 dpi scanned at least at 4” x 6”
