Hosted by the New England Chapter | 2.5 LUs and 2.5 Credits toward the Certificate in Classical Architecture
In this one-day workshop, students will explore classical architecture through free-hand drawings, focusing on details, proportions, and the use of perspective. The workshop will begin with a brief tour of the museum, using the collections and the building itself to illustrate essential aspects of classical architecture and its relationship to the other arts. Drawings, paintings, sculpture, furniture, and architectural fragments throughout the Museum will serve as study subjects, enabling students to experience and understand the rules and principles of classicism. Supplies will be provided.
This event is hosted by an ICAA Chapter. Please check the Chapter website, or contact the Chapter directly, for the most up-to-date details including dates, times, and pricing.
