Hosted by the Rocky Mountain Chapter
Join the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, Rocky Mountain Chapter for an evening to explore art with Houston-based artist, metalsmith, and designer, Mariana Sammartino. Working with precious and repurposed industrial materials and drawing inspiration from the dialectical relationship between the natural and the man-made, Sammartino’s work defies categorization straddling the boundaries between art, studio craft, and product design.
“My work has been described as ‘sculptural, ambiguous, and intriguing,’ which is a fitting reflection of the way I like to think about my artistic practice.” - Mariana Sammartino
