Andrew Prokos is a New York City based architecture, advertising, and fine art photographer. His photographs incorporate architectural elements and sweeping natural and urban views. Andrew’s large-scale cityscapes of New York and other locations capture the city in intricate detail. He often uses long exposure times to “collect” light, which imparts a sense of movement and suffuses his scenes with a subtle, non-directional light. The resulting photographs are both highly detailed and lyrical in quality. Andrew’s photography has been widely published, and has won numerous awards at the prestigious Prix de la Photographie, Paris (Px3), the International Photography Awards (Lucies), American Photography. and the Epson International Pano Awards. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of the City of New York, Banco do Brasil, 21_21 Design Sight Tokyo, and in galleries and corporate fine art collections in the USA and Europe. Andrew is a Professional member of the New York chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers. He welcomes inquiries regarding photo shoots, fine art print sales, and exhibitions.
