Harrison Design is dedicated to one principal idea: architecture should be beautiful and highly functional. From high-end custom residences to townhomes and specialty commercial projects, the award-winning firm creates homes inspired by the best of classical architecture. Founded in 1991, each of its seven US offices upholds excellence in design and workmanship, client relationships and project execution. The team is equally skilled in the design of new projects, complex renovations and historical preservation.
Founded in 2011, Harrison Design's New York practice is based on Long Island's Gold Coast and led by Matthew Korn, AIA, who merged his practice with the firm in 2015. Its American Colonial residence in Greenwich, Connecticut, earned the 2015 Shutze Award for Excellence in Residential Architecture. Another notable project is the renovation of the historic Harriman-Rumsey Norman-style estate in Sands Point, Long Island, which was originally designed by McKim, Mead & White.
