Harrison Design is dedicated to one principal idea: architecture should be beautiful and highly functional. From high-end custom residences to townhomes and specialty commercial projects, the award-winning firm creates homes inspired by the best of classical architecture. Founded in 1991, each of its seven US offices upholds excellence in design and workmanship, client relationships and project execution. The team is equally skilled in the design of new projects, complex renovations and historical preservation.
Harrison Design’s New York practice has designed estate homes on Long Island's "Gold Coast" and in the region since 2011. After establishing a practice in New York City in 2019, the New York office was consolidated in Manhattan, and is led by Christopher Stoddard, AIA, with Joseph Piscitelli, RLA, ASLA, directing landscape architecture. The firm’s award-winning work includes an American Colonial residence in Greenwich, Conn., and the renovation of the historic Harriman-Rumsey Norman-style estate in Sands Point, Long Island, which was originally designed by McKim, Mead & White.
