Masonry: Brick as Structure and Art
Join us as we explore the enduring qualities of brick masonry, both as a reliable structural element and a beautiful decorative veneer. From the ancient wonders of the world to its timeless application in today’s architecture, brick has shaped our built environment in profound ways.
We’ll journey through history, examining iconic examples like Rome’s Pantheon, the elegant country houses of Lutyens, and the classic urban architecture of London, showcasing the versatility and artistry of this material.
