Introduced by Kate Markert, Hillwood’s executive director and author of A Garden for All Seasons: Marjorie Merriweather Post’s Hillwood, the lecture will first explore how the visionary Marjorie Post planned and created her garden paradise set on 25 acres in Washington, DC. Wilfried Zeisler, Hillwood’s chief curator and curator of the selection of works of art from Post’s collection on view at the Washington Antiques Show, will follow and share insights on these beautiful examples from the museum’s collection.
