Nancy Goslee Power is a celebrated garden designer based in Santa Monica, California. She has built countless public gardens including The Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena and the Beverly Hills Beverly-Canon Gardens, and many private gardens in Southern California, on the East Coast, and in Australia and Europe. Her most famous private garden is Moraga Vineyards in Bel Air, California. She is the first Gold Medal winner of the Henry F duPont award for garden design, and is the recipient of the Giants of Design Award from House Beautiful and the American Academy Rome’s prestigious Resident Award in 2004. Nancy has published two books, The Gardens of California, 1995, which has become a classic in its field, and The Power of Gardens, a monograph of her firm’s work. She contributed “Essay on the Garden” for the Norton Simon's book Living Art, and has been included in many international garden books, magazines, and newspapers.
