Architect Douglas Wright on His New Book "From Hand to Home"

Join the ICAA as we welcome Architect Douglas Wright to discuss his new book, From Hand to Home at the Georgetown Club on Thursday, April 30th. Sophisticated yet approachable, Wright’s architecture will tour the reader through the legacy of great buildings and outstanding craftsmanship reinterpreted for the contemporary sensibility. Copies of the book will be available for sale and refreshments served.

Douglas C Wright architects is a New York based firm of architects and interior designers. Over the last fifteen years, it has designed award-winning projects in a variety of historical and contemporary styles nationwide, as well as in Europe, which have been featured in architectural digest, Elle Décor, Veranda, Galerie, and the Wall Street Journal. Wright’s projects have also appeared in books by Katie Ridder, Fawn Galli, and Molly FitzSimons, Cullman & Kravis, and Stewart Manger, as well as in Parish Hadley tree of Life. In 2023 the firm was honored with the ICAA McKim Meade & White award for residential architecture.
