Denver is host to many fine examples of classical architecture and settings, from courthouses to civic centers to parks to private homes. The level of detail used in these structures demonstrates the commitment to the classical traditions executed by practitioners of the past, such as Jacques Benedict and Burnham Hoyt, and the present. How keen is your eye when it comes to identifying classical elements of architecture? Have you spied an arcade, crossette, modillion, or serliana while walking around town? Believe it or not, Denver is full of these details! We have a challenge for you: join us on a Classical Scavenger Hunt of Denver. Teaming up with other members of the community, professionals, enthusiasts, and students, see just how many elements you can find in our beautiful city. We will kick it off in a community garden with breakfast and coffee and end with cocktails and some great prizes for our winners!
