Hosted by the ICAA Texas Chapter
Discover the story behind one of San Antonio’s most beautiful landmarks with an exclusive after-hours architectural tour of the McNay Art Museum.
Once the 1920s Spanish Colonial Revival residence of Marion Koogler McNay, this 24-room mansion was designed by Atlee & Robert Ayres with exquisite hand-painted tiles, stenciled ceilings, and an open-air courtyard that reflect the artistry of the era. While enjoying wine and light bites, guests will trace the transformation from home to Texas’s first modern art museum, exploring the original mansion and its thoughtful expansions, including the striking Stieren Center.
