Northwest Chapter

The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art Northwest Chapter (ICAA Northwest) was founded in 2015 and endeavors to promote the renewal of interest in classical and traditional architecture, urbanism, and their allied arts in Washington and Oregon. The ICAA Northwest Chapter’s members recognize how classicism and the enduring human values underlying it can inform design and artistic excellence. The mission celebrates cultural continuities rather than differences, and reconnects the idea that classicism embodies a universality that is at the same time both profoundly modern and timeless. The ICAA Northwest Chapter provides a forum enabling members to develop and inspire awareness, connect to other like-minded professionals, publish, and teach.
