Trumbauer Awards

The Trumbauer Awards are hosted by the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art Philadelphia Chapter (ICAA Philadelphia) and recognize the work of individuals and firms to preserve and advance the classical tradition in the greater Philadelphia area. It is named for internationally renowned, native Philadelphian architect Horace Trumbauer (1868-1938) and recognizes contemporary classical projects that express the breadth and inclusiveness celebrated in Trumbauer’s expansive work. In developing the Trumbauer Awards, ICAA Philadelphia honors contemporary practitioners whose work displays the same spirit of invention and expression. The Trumbauer Awards are bestowed biennially, with 2016 marking the program’s inaugural year.
