Tiek Design Studio is seeking an Interior Designer with a minimum of 5 years of experience designing high-end residential interiors and a strong appreciation for traditional design. The ideal candidate combines exceptional design sensibility with outstanding organizational skills. A strong appreciation for classical architecture and traditional interiors is essential.

This role involves close collaboration with the Principal and architectural team in developing thoughtfully curated interiors from concept through installation. You will play a central role in shaping timeless, cohesive homes by leading the design process, translating client vision into beautifully resolved interiors, and ensuring every detail supports the architectural narrative.

Success in this role is defined by thoughtful design, meticulous organization, accurate project documentation, and the ability to confidently manage interiors from concept through procurement and installation while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop high-end residential interior design projects through all project phases
  • Develop original interior concepts, material palettes, and FF&E selections to support the architecture
  • Produce detailed drawings, elevations, millwork designs, specifications, and presentation boards
  • Manage specifications, procurement, budgets, and project information within Studio Designer
  • Coordinate purchasing, vendor communication, deliveries, and installations
  • Present design concepts and selections to clients with confidence and clarity
  • Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure cohesive project delivery
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative studio culture
  • Participate in site visits and oversee design implementation as required

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design
  • Advanced proficiency in Studio Designer software is essential
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (Chief Architect is advantageous)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating timeless, architecturally informed interiors
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Extensive knowledge of luxury furnishings, lighting, textiles, finishes, and materials
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting client and vendor relationships
