Historical Concepts is a multi-generational architecture and planning firm that has been creating homes, buildings, and communities rooted in a strong sense of place since 1982. Our purpose is to create enduring beauty through architecture and planning that improves the lives of people and their communities. From offices in Atlanta and New York, we practice traditional and classical architecture through a precedent-based design approach, drawing inspiration from historic architecture and the enduring principles of scale, proportion, and detail.

Central to our work is a collaborative design process that brings together architects, clients, interior designers, landscape architects, builders, and craftspeople from the earliest stages of a project. We believe the most successful work emerges through this shared exchange of ideas and a commitment to creating architecture that is both timeless and deeply connected to its setting.
