About

MICHAEL G. IMBER, ARCHITECTS is a design firm dedicated to creating architecture rich in historical and cultural sentiment and modern in its execution.

As a studio of diverse individuals, we are committed to preserving a continuum of architecture that is rooted in cultural memory, believing that buildings connect us to the past and form the memories of the generations that follow. Our work draws from this belief and expertise at every level, and no aspect is overlooked—from the connection between building and landscape to the feel of the finest detail.

Focusing on the aesthetics of detail, craftsmanship, and material, we design buildings that are not only aesthetically and culturally appropriate to their context, but timeless, real, and lasting—the use of local materials and building traditions lends meaning and soul to a building.

A national firm registered in 17 states, we work in a wide variety of landscapes across the nation and abroad. Decades of experience in classical, traditional, and vernacular design allow us to design iconic houses, ranches, and estates as well as civic, institutional, hospitality, and ecclesiastical projects.
