Announcing the ICAA Florida Chapter's "Behind the Scenes" Series

Episode 1 – Discovering the World of Art Conservation

    Via the Florida Chapter

    June 10, 2020

The ICAA's Florida Chapter is excited to unveil the first episode in a new ongoing series, Behind the Scenes, which highlights members of the Florida Chapter describing their craft and process.

Episode 1 – Discovering the World of Art Conservation

Barbara Stella, of ICAA Member Firm Stella Art Conservation, explores how art conservation focuses on the preservation and protection of our cultural heritage and embraces an interdisciplinary and science-based approach to art. Join Barbara and discover how an art conservator cleans a painting to reveal the original brightness of the colors, and brings the artwork back to its original glory.

If you are interested in proposing an episode on your craft and process, please contact [email protected].
