Highlights from New Heights at the Marymount School of Manhattan

    By ICAA

    January 31, 2020

Instrumental to igniting an early interest in architecture, design, and classicism, the ICAA’s New Heights program always brings a special excitement to students and teachers alike. The initiative, which introduces middle schoolers to the history and principles of classical architecture, includes eye-opening walking tours, drawing exercises, design projects, and hands-on demonstrations in building craft.

As the longest-running partner in the program, The Marymount School of New York hosted the weeklong New Heights program for the fifth straight year in fall of 2019. Watch the video above to hear from students and witness highlights from this innovative program!
