What You Will Learn

• Intent:  Identifying what it is you wish your painting to say. What  is the reason
  is you may be doing one painting rather than another?  in short, we will attempt to
  discover the root of your  own unique inspiration
• Design: Once we have established our intent, we then select the elements that
  will best help us to make our paintings as communicative as possible. So we
  choose what to include - what to leave in, what to leave out.
• Values:  As part of our image’s design, we’ll study ways to compose and
  manipulate value range to both communicate our intent more strongly, and
  establish a sense of depth in perspective upon the two-dimensional surface.
• Color:  Once our Intent, Design, and Values are established. we will look at the
  most effective combinations of complementary colors to help move our narrative
  forward in  the best, most appropriate way.
